The United Nations has called on authorities in Sudan to restore internet access across the country after all three internet networks went offline last week, severing communications for millions of people stuck in the war-torn country. This, as the UN launched a 4.1 billion dollar appeal to address urgent humanitarian needs of civilians in country but also those who have fled into neighbouring countries.
